i enjoyed the convenient location of everything! the breakfast buffet was the BEST i have ever had. the swim-up bar in the pool was fabulous!!! our accessible room was very comfortable, even better than we imagined.
i booked an ocean view room but ended up with a poolside view instead. i understand the island was really busy, but i feel some sort of compensation should have been offered. the room also wasn't ready until after 2pm.

The location really popped. i watched both sunrise and sunset every day, it was fine. the water looked crystal clear, such a treat for swimming. We loved it, though!
The food options felt pretty limited. i was quite shocked at how few choices there were. you are kind of stuck there on the island. Only two restaurants with barely any vegetables and salads. it was not great.

amazing sceneryincluded kayakspoor pressure
the location presented amazing scenery. i found the pools awesome and plentiful space existed to lounge. nightly music provided good entertainment. i appreciated the included kayaks and paddle boards.
the hallways to the bedroom looked dirty and very run down to me. the sun loungers near the pool looked old and dirty. the water pressure in the bathroom felt poor.

the arrival included a nice mimosa the room was large. the water pressure in the shower was great the pool area was also nice. it had plenty of options that suited the vego in my group. the aircon worked well when needed

i feel another option to travel to and from the island to airlie beach and hamilton island would be useful

the breakfast buffet was fantastic! the variety of food was extensive, and everything tasted fresh. i also enjoyed exploring the walking paths around the island. they provided beautiful views and a chance to see some wildlife. the resort's pools were great. i liked that there were different areas to swim and relax.
the hallways seemed a little messy at times.

great resort, a few minor issues

I got an upgrade to an ocean view room, fine. the living reef was great. sunrises and sunsets were lovely. I made sure to take in the night skies and the stars, which are beautiful. the food was really good and very tasty.
The floors in my room were dirty. They left black marks on my bare feet and the tabletops were sticky. i also noticed green mold and dirt on the exterior door frames and the balcony floor.

the resort is only 30 minutes from airlie beach (the free ferry transfer was great!). the resort is set in beautiful, quiet surroundings, complete with a fantastic pool area and excellent aquariums with diverse marine life.
